Security Systems Installation Team Leader
Specific Duties:
- Experience supervising deployed cleared technician teams
- Experience ensuring that deployed teams complete installation, repair, and maintenance of both physical and technical security systems
- Experience mentoring and motivating subordinate team members
- Expert ability to install and troubleshoot all technical security systems components
- Expert ability to review design elements of proposed technical solutions to ensure continuity, compatibility with, and integration of existing systems
- Installer certification for Software House C-Cure 9000, Genetec VMS, Cinch Systems, Hirsch systems
- Comprehensive working understanding of classified document handling
- Regular overseas travel
- Active Top Secret clearance
Security Systems Installation Technician
Specific Duties:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair physical and technical security and life-safety systems based upon project specifications, Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security (DS) standards, the National Electrical Code, and DS application guidelines
- Familiarity with electronic, electromechanical locking systems; pedestrian and vehicular access control systems; IPCCTV systems; hand-held and walk-thru metal detectors; radio communications systems associated with voice and digital communications networks; intrusion detection systems; public address systems; emergency notification systems; intercom systems
- Understanding of basic electrical, electronic, and electromechanical schematics
- Familiarity with network and fiber optic terminations
- Regular overseas travel
- Active Top Secret clearance
